Crystaderm First Aid Cream Contains Hydrogen Peroxide 1% w/w Which Provides Strong Protection Against Skin Infection From Cuts and Scrapes to Acne

Crystaderm is the strongest topical antibacterial cream available without a prescription, fighting against infection across a wide range of skin conditions.

Crystaderm slowly releases Hydrogen Peroxide from lipid crytals in the cream onto the skin. It is highly effective against many types of bacteria, also against some fungi and viruses. It acts by destroying essential components of the cells of these organisms. No resistance develops when using Crystaderm, it keeps on destroying bacteria regardless of how often it is used. It also has the advantage of adhering to both moist and dry areas.

As a first Aid Cream, Crystaderm helps to prevent and treat infection in:

Cuts and Grazes

School Sores (Impetigo)

Infected Body Piercings

Insect Bites

Minor Burns

Crystaderm fights acne by killing acne-causing bacteria:

Clinically proven to be as effective in treating acne as Benzoyl Peroxide

Well tolerated producing significantly less redness compared with Benzoyl Peroxide

Directions: After cleansing the wound apply sparingly to the affected area 2-3 times daily for a maximum of 21 days. (Seek medical advice if a wound has not responded within this time, or sooner if it worsens)

Ingredients:

Lipid Stabilised Hydrogen Peroxide 1%w/w
Inactive ingredients - glyceryl monolaurate, glyceryl monomyristate, polyoxyethylene (100) stearate, propylene glycol, citric acid, sodium oxalate, salicylic acid, disodium edetate, sodium pyrophosphate, sodium stannate and puified water.
No preservatives

Precautions: Keep Crystaderm Cream out of reach of children. Do not use Crystaderm Cream if you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients listed. Avoid contact with the eyes. Crystaderm Cream is not intended to treat or cure any medical condition. Store in a dry place, below 25 degress Celsius. Replace cap and wash hands immediately after use.

This is the best ointment ever for infected ( or runs the risk of being) cuts and scratches- we have used it for years but sadly there is no stock in Australia so we are having to have it sent over from home ( NZ). For kids who are “pickers” it cuts the healing time dramatically. Even on old fragile skin it helps the healing process of skin tears and scratches etc.

When attending to superficial wounds this product provides a strong antibacterial impact. It is easy to apply, Well tolerated, and doesn’t need prescription. It can be used in alternating application with other topical pharmaceuticals. The smooth and easily applied cream formulation is a great innovation making the old hydrogen peroxided liquid seem … old. I carry two tubes in each first aid kit and if you are careful you can apply under large bandaid or non stick dressing for immediate effect on fresh wounds.

Crystaderm isn't currently available in Australia and because it is the most effective anti-septic cream I have ever used, I ordered 4 tubes from NZ Online Pharmacy in New Zealand. They arrived very quickly.
