Weleda White Mallow Body Lotion contains organic White Mallow which gently wraps a calming protective layer around the skin, soothes and maintains the skins moisture whilst alleviating itching.

Awarded the National Eczema Association Seal of Acceptance™ this mild, fragrance-free lotion, made with 95% organic ingredients, moisturizes sensitive skin and relieves itching caused by dryness. Organic white mallow and pansy extracts soothe baby’s dry skin and promote the development of healthy-looking skin. Organic coconut oil hydrates with a cooling effect and leaves skin velvety soft, while borage seed oil and organic safflower seed oil, rich in essential fatty acids, help support and improve baby’s delicate skin barrier. Tip: For especially dry skin, apply lotion twice a day, morning and night, to keep skin healthy-looking and moisturized. Also suitable for sensitive adult skin.

White Mallow (Althaea Officinalis): As far back as ancient times, White Mallow was highly regarded as a medicinal plant. Unlike many other plants, it feels warm and soft to the touch. It radiates softness and sensitivity, which is why it is well suited to skin that is sensitive or affected by neurodermatitis. From an anthroposophical view, White Mallow has an holistic effect on the nerve-sense system of the skin (epidermis). Its anti-irritant properties help calm and protect hypersensitive skin, relieving itching and promoting healthy skin development. The polysaccharides in its roots are particularly effective and, combined with water, form an organic gel or mucus which provides moisture, alleviates irritation and envelopes the skin in a soothing cocoon.
