Mucinex Chesty Cough Extended Release Contains 600mg Guiafenesin Provided as an Extended Release Bi-Layer Tablet
Mucinex Chesty Cough Extended Release thins bronchial secretions to rid the brochial passageways of bothersome mucous and make coughs more productive. Mucinex is a convenient, easy–to-take, guaifenesin bi-layer tablet that works in 2 ways:
- The white layer immediately releases the medicine
- The blue layer works steadily, releasing medicine hour after hour that lasts for up to 12 hours
Directions: Swallow tablet whole with a full glass of water. Do not crush, chew or break tablet. Adults and Children 12 years and over: 1 or 2 tablets every 12 hours. Do not exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours. Do not give to children under 12 years of age.
Ingredients: Each tablet contains:
- Guiafenesin - 600mg
- Contains brilliant blue (E133)
- Does not contain sugar, gluten, artificial sweeteners
Precautions: Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients listed. Do not exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours. Do not give to children under 12 years of age. Do not take with other products for the relief of colds, flu or cough without medical advice. Do not exceed the stated dose.
