MooGoo Double Cream is suitable for anyone who feels they have super dry skin or compromised skin barrier function, and want a beautiful, rich, natural cream to help improve it. For patients going through radiation treatment or chemotherapy, this cream provides moisture and creates a protective barrier. It alleviates skin discomfort such as dryness, irritation, itchiness and stinging, as well as improves the visual appearance of inflamed skin including patches of whiteness, redness, rough texture and flakiness. The product has been designed to help normalise the structure and function of the skin by providing an emollient, lipid barrier to reduce moisture loss. This is achieved by including relevant Natural Moisturising Factors (NMF) like those found in normal, healthy skin and have been shown to be beneficial for mild to severe dryness, returning the skin to optimal functionality. The antioxidants in this formula assist in calming and soothing inflamed skin.

Ceramides are fats (lipids) that exist in high concentrations in the skin, particularly when it’s healthy. Not only do they make up more than 50% of the skin’s composition, but they assist in retaining water and protecting the skin barrier from irritants. Think of them as protectants that hold the skin together. Those that suffer from skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, acne etc., may have a Ceramide deficiency, so for those we recommend supplementing with our topical cream.

Aloe Vera Leaf Juice - Aloe Vera is a flowering succulent plant that stores water in their enlarged fleshy leaves, stems, or roots. The leaf juice contains many minerals vital to the growth process and healthy function of all the body’s systems, and is particularly known for its healing and soothing benefits. We loved it before we made skin care, and we love it in our creams.
Tocopherol (Natural Vitamin E) - MooGoo uses naturally sourced Vitamin E which provides better availability
Ceramides - A type of lipid (fat) that is naturally found in the outer layer of the skin. An important component of the skin's barrier, Ceramides assist in retaining water and protecting the skin barrier from irritants.
Sorbitan Sesquioleate - A type of emulsifier that is derived from sorbitol and oleic acid. It is known to help blend oil- and water-based ingredients together, and is also believed to have skin-conditioning properties.

Directions: Apply to damp skin after washing, then as required.
