Microdacyn Wound Care is a Super-Oxidized Solution Intended for Use in the Debridement, Irrigation and Moistening of Acute and Chronic Wounds, Ulcers, Cuts, Abrasions and Burns
Microdacyn Wound Care is a patented Super Oxidised Solution (SOS) for superior wound healing first approved by the FDA in 2005. The unique SOS technology creates a triple mode of action that significantly reduces time to wound healing, including severe wounds such as Diabetic Foot Ulcers (DFU), Venous Ulcers and Burns. The powerful antimicrobial effect replicates one of the body’s own defence mechanisms against pathogens.
Microdacyn destroys bacteria, including drug resistant bacteria (‘super bugs’), viruses, fungi and spores in a matter of seconds. While the pH neutral, non-cytotoxic solution leaves human cells completely unharmed
Directions: Microdacyn® may be poured directly onto the wound. It is also possible to moisten or saturate gauze with Microdacyn® and apply this to the wound. Dosing quantities will vary depending on the size, depth and location of the wound. Microdacyn® Wound Care is recommended with every dressing change.
Ingredients: Electrolsysed water (97.97%), Sodium Chloride (0.023%), ancillary substances: Sodium Hypochlorite (0.004%) and Hypochlorous Acid (0.004%)
