Equazen Eye Q Baby is a scientifically developed unique formulation of high DHA Omega-3 and Omega-6. Its specific combination of DHA and EPA together with Omega-6 GLA ensure a synergistic and balanced formulation. Essenial fatty acids such as Omega-3 and Omega-6 are vital for good health. They play a key role in almost every part of your body and are important for the structure and communication between bran cells. Our body's can not produce omega 3 so it must come frm the diet, with oily fish being a great source.
It is known that up to 30% of the dry weight of the brain and eye is made up of long chain fatty acids, the majority being Omega-3 DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), and to a lesser degree Omega-6 and that these nutrients can only be supplied from the diet. So it is particularly important that they’re in constant supply during the first two years of a child's life, when brain development is most rapid.
A developing baby will receive essential fatty acids (ALA and LA) through its mother’s placenta during pregnancy, and hopefully these nutritional inputs will be maintained during breastfeeding, as essential fatty acids are key active components of a mother's breast milk. The formulation is similar to the capsules of its parent product, Mumomega, but the essential fatty acids in EQUAZEN baby are delivered in simple Twist-Off capsules. So all you have to do is twist off the tip and squeeze the contents into any food and drink. The product is suitable for babies of 6 months to 3 years old.
Directions: Give one capsule per day with food/liquid 200g/200ml. Twist off the capsule and squeeze the contents into at least 200ml of liquid or 200g of food and mix well. Capsules are not to be swallowed or fed to children.
