Key Ingredient - Milk Thistle (Silybum marianum) - Silymarin the active constituent in Milk Thistle has been shown to be an antioxidant and support liver health. Silymarin acts as an antioxidant by reducing free radical production and lipid peroxidation, has antifibrotic activity and may act as a toxin blockade agent by inhibiting binding of toxins to the hepatocyte cell membrane receptors.
Directions: Adults: take 2 capsules daily. 12-17 years: take 1 capsule daily.
Ingredients: Each vegetarian capsule contains:
- Milk Thistle (Silybum marianum) ext. equiv. to dry seed (standardised to total flavonoids including 105 mg silymarin) - 9g
- d-alpha tocopherol acetate (equiv. to 22.5 IU Vitamin E) - 15.1mg
- Selenomethionine (equiv. to 75 mcg Selenium) - 183mcg
- Retinyl acetate (equiv. to 3866 IU Vitamin A) - 1330mcg
- Vitamin C (Ascorbic acid) - 180mg
- Zinc citrate (equiv. 7.5 mg Zinc) - 23.33mg
- Also contains: rice hulls, rice extract blend and microcrystalline cellulose.
- No added: sugar, artificial colours, sweeteners, flavours, or preservatives.
