Kiwi Herb

Kiwiherb is a New Zealand based company, producing a unique range of herbal formulations at their specialised manufacturing plant in Auckland. Kiwiherb was formed in 2000 when founder, Phil Rasmussen, recognised the need for premium quality, 100% natural herbal health products to be readily available to everyone.

Each Kiwiherb product has been expertly formulated by Phil and Kiwiherb's qualified and experienced team, combining the wisdom of traditional herbal medicine with the validation of modern research.

 

New Zealand is famous for its unpolluted 'clean green' environment, and Kiwiherb is able to source most of the herbs from local organic growers, thus maximising the purity and potency of our products. These include Echinacea and Manuka Honey (cornerstone ingredients of the Kiwiherb range), Dandelion and Marshmallow.

New Zealand is also renowned for its incredibly diverse range of plant-life, with many of these plants used by traditional Maori healers to treat ill health. The Kiwiherb range is unique in embracing the wisdom of Rongoa (Maori herbal medicine) with the inclusion of sustainably sourced New Zealand native herbs carefully selected for their time-honoured traditional medicinal uses.

Kiwiherb ensures these plants are wildcrafted (collected from their natural environment) in a sustainable and ethically sound manner. These plants Kawakawa, Horopito, Manuka, Tanekaha, Hoheria, Koromiko, Poroporo and Totara) have long been valued for their therapeutic actions and add unique healing properties to many Kiwiherb products.

Commitment to Quality:  Kiwiherb is dedicated to quality.  This includes preferentially sourcing certified organic New Zealand grown raw ingredients, working with growers to foster ongoing quality and sustainability, and upholding strict quality control throughout the manufacturing process.  Wherever possible Kiwiherb products are certified organic by Bio-Gro, New Zealand's leading organic certification agency.


The Kiwiherb manufacturing plant is accredited by Medsafe as a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) facility. This means all of our products are subject to intensive testing and monitoring ensuring the safety and consistency of each batch.

These rigorous quality control measures are applied to all stages of production from raw materials through to the finished product, which guarantees that all Kiwiherb products contain exactly what the label states, and have been tested for purity and safety.
